Local Government Review - Following the recent Appeal against the High Court decision the Boundary Committee has published its proposals for the new local government structure for Suffolk. Final consultation runs from 8th December 2009 to 19 January 2010. Suffolk Coastal District Council is to consult again on its Local Development Framework Core Strategy in September 2009. This is due to a change in the proposals for housing distribution. The changes include a doubling of the number of houses to be built east of the A12 at Martlesham to 2,000.
