Bealings Station in the late 1940s.
Sadly this station closed in the
1950's.

The above postcard of "Little Bealings Street" shows
the gate-house to the Manor House. It still stands today as an
extended family home - you will find it just opposite the
entrance to All Saints Church. This postcard and the picture
of "Rosemead" below shows that The Street has not changed much
in 100 years.

The Blacksmiths below was behind the Admirals
Head.
The picture was taken in the early 1900's.
Below is a photo of the old Village Hall (a recycled first
world war army hut) which was to be found on the left of Sandy Lane
just opposite Bealings school. The old hut was
demolished in the late 1950s when a new hall was built at the top
of The Street. The new hall is celebrating its 50th
anniversary on 12th May 2007!!!!
