There has been an overwhelming response with 25 bids to be scruitnised.  The appraisal panel will meet on 23rd February, with the Board making the final decisions on 17th March.

• Bids that further the neighbourhood management principles and ensure that the benefits continue after the programme is completed.

• All grants will all be reviewed on their own merits with projects under £10,000 being looked upon more favourably.

• Parks and Green Spaces that through capital investment will benefit the local communities.

• Projects which “Improve Residents satisfaction with their own areas”

• Preference will be granted to those who have not had capital grants before or to those who have not had a revenue grant of over £5000.

• The Community Chest for bids under £1000 continues to be an effective way of supporting projects with in the community.

Application forms and Terms and Conditions of grants may be downloaded for our website but it is recommended to discuss the project with Neighbourhood management team to ensure project fits the criteria.
