Application Forms For Funding

Lowestoft Together welcomes applications from groups in the community. If you want to Make a Difference in Harbour, Kirkley, Whitton, Normanston or St Margaret's wards, you might be able to receive some funding from Lowestoft Together.

There are 4 bands of funding.

• Up to a £100 - this is for groups like parent groups or scouts or similar, and you need to fund a small piece of equipment or top up an event, or something like that. You need to speak with the Neighbourhood Manager - Bob Russell.(01502 523183)
• Up to a £1000 - download and complete the Community Chest Application Form.
• Between £1001 - £5000 - download and complete Full Application and Outcomes and Targets Form, fill in and return. The Appraisal Panel will then consider your application and their recommendation will go to the Lowestoft Together Board.
• More than £5000 - download and complete Full Application form, and also the Outcomes and Targets Form. Both have to be completed and returned and you will also have to make a presentation to the Appraisal Panel whose recommendation will go to the Board.
• Application forms are at the bottom of the page.
• There are two sorts of funding available - Capital and Revenue. Capital is for things, like community kitchens or toilets or hall furniture. Revenue is for running costs, like expenses or wages.
  
  As this is public money, all aspects of its use are carefully checked and monitored. On the other hand, Lowestoft Together wants it to be as easy and painless as possible for community groups to help make their area a better place to live, so we aim to support you through the whole application process.
  
  If your group needs some funding, the first thing to do is download the relevant form, and read it. Then, if you think you are the right group for funding, complete and return the forms.
