Threat to dispensary service at Mendlesham Health Centre
 Please see the following comments received from Mendlesham Health Surgery and the attached letter to patients.

 

"We are urging patients and local organisations to write on our behalf to the Government against its proposals for changing the long-standing way that GP practices have dispensed medicines. As we understand it, rural practices, particularly those with branch surgeries are at greatest risk. We could see services to patients greatly reduced with the possibility of having to close the branch surgery at Bacton. A great deal of support from all round the country has already been forwarded to the Government, but we are trying to ensure that we do all we can to protect our local surgeries."

"We’re asked to sent our letters to Gillian Farnfield, at the address in the letter and send a copy to Sir Michael Lord, MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich at the House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA."
