- The removal of old plaster, coving and plasterboard
Artexing &
Coving:
- The correct use of tools and equipment
- To erect a plasterboard ceiling
- To tape, caulk and feather joints ready for texturing
- To use sealers prior to artexing
- To correctly mix with proper materials
- Apply artex to walls and ceilings with popular patterns – i.e.
broken leather, stipple, medusa, knifed plaster, swirl etc
- Laced finishes and advanced artex comb patterns

Age range: The qualification is available for
Pre 16, 16-18, 18+, 19+.
This qualification aims to:
Develop skills, knowledge and understanding at Entry Level and

Develop the basic building blocks that learners
