Tiffin is an Indian and British term for a light meal eaten
during the day. This is one of my personal favourites, easy to make
and very tasty. In fact it went down so well in the office that it
disapeared before I had a chance to take a photo.
Ingredients
- 110g margarine
- 1 dessertspoon sugar
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 tbsps drinking chocolate powder
- 50g raisins
- 225g digestive biscuits, crushed
- A block of chocolate
Method
- Melt the margarine, sugar and syrup in a saucepan.
- Stir in the drinking chocolate, raisins and biscuits.
- Spread the mixture into the tin (27cm X 17cm)and press down
firmly.
- Cover with melted chocolate and chill slightly to
set.
