Ingredients
- 2lb golden syrup
- 1/2 lb fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 tbs fresh lemon juice
- 8oz shortcrust pastry
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 190°C: 375°F: Gas 5.
- Line a 12" shallow loose bottom flan ring with sweet/shortcrust
pastry.
- In a large bowl, mix together the golden syrup and
breadcrumbs.
- Add the lemon juice and mix well together.
- Pour the sticky mixture into the pastry case.
- Bake in the oven for around 25 mins.
