Planting the Parish
Recognising we have a part to play in supporting our own
environment we have undertaken to maintain and plant the area
around the village sign and other areas within the Parish.
Every year the Councillors plant several hundred bulbs around the
Parish, thanks to donations from local businesses and the
councillors own pockets!

Oulton Marshes

This is the new information board which the Parish Council has
helped fund.
The information board is designed to inform both visitors and
residents about the work which has been undertaken, the history of
the area and also the large amount wildlife around the local
area.
It is situated on the Oulton Dyke Staithe, where thousands of
pounds have been invested to improve the general area, and to
provide a more pleasant atmosphere for residents and visitors
alike
There is now a new area for boats to moore, which we hope will
prove very
successful.
