Pakenham - Village of Two Mills

Thank you for accessing the official website for Pakenham Parish Council.

We are one of only a few villages with a working windmill and a working watermill. Both are open to the public at set times and both are well worth a visit.

We are a small village with an electorate of just over 700. Most of the inhabitants are actively involved in village life, with many clubs meeting in the newly built village hall. Sports clubs take advantage of the Playing Field, where there is also a very popular newly erected children’s play area.  A teen area, with shelter, is available for older children.

We are lucky enough to retain a Post Office and village shop, which is situated within the village hall.









St Mary's Church holds regular services and is situated on a hill overlooking the village.









This website aims to reflect the purpose and intention of the Parish Council and we hope it will raise the profile of the Council and of the work it carries out.  Feedback from the residents of Pakenham is actively encouraged.
