2009 PROGRAMME >>
Meets every second Monday in the month at the
Community Centre
(rear of Pat Lewis Garage - (Peugeot Dealer)
at
8 p.m.
The Jazz Record Club was founded in 1990 by a
group of enthusiasts from the Community Council and has been
meeting monthly ever since.
We now have members who regularly attend our
meetings from as far a field as Ipswich, Norwich and Great
Yarmouth.
Meetings take the form of hour long record
recitals by members of the club with occasional guest speakers.
Subjects covered range from The Original Dixieland Jazz Band to
Weather Report and all points in between.
We meet on the second Monday of every month at
the Community Centre and admission is £1 for non members and 50p
for members of the Community Centre.
Everyone is welcome, a deep knowledge of jazz is
not necessary,- just a love of good music.
Admission charge £1.00 per session for
members
£1.50 per session for non members.
