The Benefice Choir

has just under twenty singers and meets every Thursday at Eastern House, Parham from 6.45 to 7.45 pm. The Choir Master is George Culpan and the accompanist in Tina Morford (following the retirement at the end of 2005 by Mrs Ada Frost, aged 93). Currently, members come from Parham and Marlesford plus two from outside the Benefice.


The Choir sings at the Benefice Services, held normally on the first Sunday of each month round the four Benefice churches in turn – Campsea Ashe, Marlesford, Hacheston and Parham - leading the hymns and responses and singing a new anthem each month.

The choir is also available for wedding services, by arrangement.
