Parham Parish Council meets 6 times a year, on the second Tuesday of every other month, commencing in January. All meetings take place in the Village Hall with at least three clear working days notice given.

The AGM is held in May when officers are re-elected and the annual accounts are presented.

The budget for the next year is set in November, allowing the opportunity in January to reconsider before setting the precept (Funding requested from Suffolk Coastal District Council to cover next year's expenditure).  Applications for financial assistance must be received by the end of September.

The statutory Annual Parish Meeting is held between March and June each year. This is an open meeting allowing anyone to speak. The next APM will take place on 10th March 2009 in Parham Village Hall where there will be short reports from various organisations in the parish.
