Bus Service   Ipswich Buses runs a service through Pettaugh -- the 116 from Ipswich to Debenham is scheduled every hour or two through the day.  For the timetable go to  Ipswich Buses and select 'Ipswich North' or phone 0800 918390

Coach to Stansted  Did you know that there is a coach service between Ipswich and Stansted Airport?  Leave your car at home!  The X5 runs every 2 hours, day and night.  For details, go to Air Direct  or phone 01279 681800  Sadly, free travel for over 60s with a bus pass has been withdrawn!  See:

Mobile Library  The mobile library visits Pettaugh every two weeks, stopping in the 'layby' outside Sandalwood / Woodstock in Ipswich Way, between 3.20 and 3.40 on alternate Fridays.  Helpful hint:  It's always the same week that the recyclables are collected from Ipswich Way (non-recyclables from Debenham Way)!  For more info follow the link:  Mobile Library
