Joining the
choir
Weekly
rehearsals
are held during the school terms on Wednesdays between 7.30-9.30pm
in Sir Robert Hitcham’s School in Framlingham. New
singers in all parts are always welcome, with no
requirement for an audition. Members of the choir pay an annual
subscription which will be £130 (with concessions) for
2011/12, payable in one or two instalments. This is the main
source of funding for the high cost of putting on and
rehearsing for the concerts. Other funds are obtained from ticket
sales, advertising, patronage and sponsorship.
Each year a
few social
and fund-raising events like the popular quiz night with
supper are arranged by the Committee.
