Joining the
choir
Weekly
rehearsals are held during the school terms on
Wednesdays between 7.30-9.30pm in Sir Robert Hitcham’s School in
Framlingham. New singers in all parts are always
welcome, with no requirement for an audition. Members
of the choir pay an annual subscription (£90 (with
concessions) for 2007/8) which contributes towards the high
cost of putting on and rehearsing for the concerts. Other funds are
obtained from ticket sales, advertising, grants, patronage and
sponsorship.
Each year a
few social
and fund-raising events like the popular quiz night with
supper are arranged by the Committee.
