Pinewood Community Hall is owned and operated by
Pinewood Parish Council.
The Hall is run by the Parish Council's Community Hall
Management Committee which consists of:-
Pinewood Parish Councillors: Cllr. Norman Smith
(Chairman), Cllr. Robert Manning and Cllr. Simon Fisher and is
managed on a day to day basis by Parish Clerk and Hall Manager,
Sandra
Peartree.
The Community Hall is situated in Pinewood in between the Baptist
Church at
Shepherd Drive and the Shopping Centre in Laburnum
Close.
The facility offers:- A main hall which will
accommodate
190 seated (theatre
style). Lounge/Bar seats 30
people.
There is a
f
ully equip kitchen and also
baby change facilities and disabled toilet

When hiring the main hall for events on a Saturday/Sunday evening
i.e birthday celebrations etc., a fully staffed bar is
available (at no extra charge if your numbers exceed 75) if desired
for your event - this will be by prior arrangement and at the
discretion of the Designated Premises Supervisor within
licensed hours. Bar prices are very competitive.
The bar is chargeable for weekend daytime events if required as
part of your hire.
The lounge bar is available for meetings and other events when not
is use as a bar.
The kitchen is shared by all users of the Hall.
We set up the main hall for your event with stage (if required),
tables and chairs leaving you to just decorate tables with
cloths/table decorations etc., or hall with balloons and
banners etc., - saving you valuable hiring time.
At the end of your party/event we just ask you to remove your
decorations and bag up any left over food, we then clean and put
away the furniture and clean the Hall after your event for you as
part of the hire.
There is

ar parking on the site (shared
with the users of the Church) which will cater for a total of 72
cars.
Bus stops for services 7, 13,
15 are nearby.

70's /
80's Disco Party - 3 March 2012
The date has been set for the
next 70's and 80's disco party.
Saturday 3 March 2012. Music will be provided once again
by DJLeeJ and the evening will include a
buffet.
Themed dress is optional but welcomed. There will be
a licensed bar.
Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £10 per
person.
