Pinewood Community Hall is owned and operated by Pinewood Parish Council.

The Hall is run by the Parish Council's Community Hall Management Committee which consists of:-
Pinewood Parish Councillors:  Cllr. Norman Smith  (Chairman), Cllr. Jenny Lloyd, Cllr. Robert Manning, Cllr. Lorna Harding and Ms Celia Rutt and Ms Mary Dixon from the Pinewood & District Community Hall Association and is managed on a day to day basis by Hall Manager, Sandra Peartree.                                     


The Community Hall is situated in Pinewood in between the Baptist Church at
Shepherd Drive and the Shopping Centre in Laburnum Close. 
The facility offers:- A main hall, the largest of the three rooms which will accommodate
190 seated (theatre style).  Lounge/Bar seats 24 people.   Small Activity Room which seats 12 people.  There is a f ully equip kitchen and also baby change facilities.  If you would like to view the internal layout of the hall (A4 size) then click on the following link:-  FloorPlan.pdf

When hiring the main hall for events i.e birthday celebrations etc., a fully staffed bar is available (at no extra charge) if desired for your event - this will be by prior arrangement and at the discretion of the Designated Premises Supervisor within licensed hours.  
The lounge bar is available for meetings and other events when not is use as a bar.
The kitchen is shared by all users of the Hall.  We set up the main hall for your event and also clean the Hall after your event as part of the hire.

There is c
ar parking on the site (shared with the users of the Church) which will cater for a total of 72 cars.  Bus stops for services 7, 13, 15 are nearby.

BOOKINGS FOR 2010 COMING IN FAST...
The community hall has only been open for a few months and already is a very popular and thriving venue for regular activities during the weekdays/evenings and is booked most Saturday evenings for parties or celebrations.  Bookings for 2010 are coming in thick and fast with very few Saturday evenings available for the first half of the year.  So if you are thinking of booking the Hall during 2010 then dont delay and make that booking today......
