• To challenge racism amongst young people and the wider community, promoting inclusive and cohesive communities that value diversity.
• To encourage victims of racial harassment and violence to report incidents.
• To provide advice, support and advocacy to all victims reporting incidents of racial harassment and violence.
• To coordinate action against perpetrators through partnership working.
• To monitor and record all incidents of racial harassment and the roles and work of groups and agencies across the county, ensuring that quarterly fact sheets are available on line.
• To measure performance against satisfaction levels of service users.  Identifying, implementing and publicising good practice across the county.
• To undertake a full Equality Impact Assessment on policies which cover racial harassment work within the county and to consider a broader hate crime remit.
