Post Office news - This year marks the 90th
anniversary of the foundation of the Royal Air Force...special
stamps out on 18th September. Do you know your Fruit Salad from
your Scrambled Egg? The illustrated Presentation Pack will explain
how to tell Gubbins from Clobber...!!!
The promotion for foreign currency is extended to Tuesday 30th
September - if you want to buy £500 or more of dollars, zloti,
euros etc!!!
Also great news on the HomePhone and Broadband front... pop in for
details on free weekend calls. Charges are the same whether you pay
by cash or direct debit... that makes a nice change!!! Call on

Village Shop News - Many people would like the
opportunity to shop locally for environmental and economic reasons
and here in Rattlesden you can. Our Village Shop offers a wide
range of products including locally grown produce, plants and
flowers, free range eggs, local Jersey cream, bacon and ham from
Grange Farm, plus a delivery from Sainsburys every week. You will
probably find everything you want right on your doorstep. So be
kind to the environment and save petrol money - shop with us.
If you have a couple of hours to spare during the week and would
like to help and get to know your fellow villagers, why not become
a shop volunteer. Just call into the shop or ring Hilary Voysey on
