Road Closure
Owing to the recent bad weather, the proposed closure of the
Stowmarket Road has been postponed until 8th February, with the
road being re-opened by the 14th March. The Highways Department has
been asked to ensure that, while the Stowmarket Road is closed,
Woolpit Hill will be gritted if the weather is icy.

Pavilion Construction news
Regular updates from Rattlesden Community
Council
The piling foundation installation has been completed. The next
activity is to cut the piles to the level of the new pavilion
floor. A steel ring beam will then be installed and the floor
installed. Once the floor is installed the frame of the building
can be constructed.
It is expected that the floor will be installed during January
2010. Rattlesden Community Council would like to thank the whole
village plus funding bodies for their continued support.
