Services normally take place every Sunday at 9.45 a.m. These are
usually communion services except for the fourth Sunday in the
month which is Mattins. The first Sunday in the month is a family
service.
The church has an excellent choir and fine band of bell ringers.
There is also a Mothers’ Union attached to the church.
Anyone wishing to join in any part of the life of this church
will find a warm welcome.

The PCC consists of members on the electoral register of St
Nicholas Church and its responsibility is to see to the upkeep,
running and growth of the Church. Meetings are generally held 6
times a year with the annual meeting normally taking place in
April.

The above offers Christian Bible preaching and teaching on
Sundays, Bible Study for beginners on Tuesday, Bible teaching and

Fridays and more informal meetings for ladies and men.
The Chapel minibus is made available to transport the
wheel-chair bound to the Laurel’s day centre etc.
Specialist literature, including help for schools R.E./Assembly
Programmes is also available.
