Q. Are there any bowls clubs in Rendham
A. Yes and No -
but there is one in Sweffling, just over the bridge, two in
Saxmundham, one in Framlingham and many of the surrounding villages
also have a bowls green. These are outdoor greens. Rendham does
have an indoor green but is mainly used for friendly play. There is
an indoor at Sole Bay in Southwold. Ipswich and Harleston also have

Q. Has anyone lost any fish
from their ponds lately
A. Webmaster thinks it's the otters. There have been sighting of
the culprits and we have been told that the otters travel up to
eight miles in search of food.
Q. Whats the latest news on the felling of
some of the trees in the wood in Bruisyard Road
A. The
large poplars are being felled and the hedge has been taken right
down. Where there are gaps in the hedging the owner Robert Gooch of
Pound Farm has planted new trees
The intention is that the are will now be allowed to develop with
native british trees to help encourage the wild
life.
