Residents of Rickinghall are served by General Practitioners based at Botesdale Health Centre. The Practice Team includes a manager, nurses, dispenser and receptionists. The Friends of Botesdale health Centre is a support group run by patients for the benefit of all who attend the Centre.

Schools

Children up to the age of 11 can attend St Botolph's CEVCP School, Back Hills, Botesdale. Thereafter they have a choice of secondary schools.

Library

A County Library mobile unit visits the Village on alternate Wednesdays. During 2008/09 this is fortnightly through to June 24th. The normal stopping places are Rectory Hill 11.15 - 11.25, Hinderclay Road 11.30 - 11.45, Village Hall 11.50 - 12.30.
