Rochford
House is a relaxed and supportive meeting place for young
people. There is always plenty to do there, from playing pool
to having a laugh with friends, listening to music and taking
part in whatever might be going on. Those who use the House
find it a great place to come and much more comfortable place
to hang out than bus shelters and street corners.
The House is also a place where things get done and where
trained volunteers provide help and guidance for those who need it.
Typical activities include cooking, making posters and even
decorating some of the rooms in a style to suit those who are using
them.
Above all, nobody who uses the House need ever feel lonely or
ignored. There’s always someone to talk to, whether it’s friends or
members of staff.
The House employs trained skilled youth workers and we have a no
alcohol / illegal substance policy.
