HMRC in partnership with the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) and Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) is offering a series of FREE workshops to help town, parish and community council clerks understand how VAT works for both unregistered and VAT registered local councils.

· Places are strictly limited to 20 delegates per event.

· Only 1 delegate per local council, per event.

· Events start at 10am and finish at 4pm with ½ hour lunch buffet.

· Workshop subjects include; VAT recovery on works to village halls and leisure facilities; VAT recovery on grants and donations; the VAT liability of supplies made; VAT registration and much more…
