Stanton's Community
Wood
We have now completed the
fourth phase of a ten year woodland management plan for
planting trees and hedging. We will be holding work
parties at Sid's Piece on the last Sunday of each
month 11am-1pm, so if you would like to join in, please come
along.

Wyken Vineyards

7th April EASTER SATURDAY: Easter Egg Hunt & sunflower
planting at
The Chase. ALL WELCOME - children must
be accompanied by adults. 3pm.
May: Nature Trail at Sid's Piece as part of
Stanton Open
Gardens.
July: SWWAG will have a display at
Stanton
Show.

Plant Fair:
The
bi-annual plant fairs at Wyken Vineyards are our main
fund-raising events. We always welcome extra volunteers to
help, even if you can just spare an hour or two; the next
one is on Sunday 1 April 2012. Entry
to the Plant Fair is free, but we run a tombola with some great
plant and garden-related prizes, so please have a go (or
two!). Donations of garden related prizes are gratefully
received.
