Details
Vehicle Nuisance from illegal parking and anti-social driving
are a concern in Framlingham town centre. Youths in their vehicle
congregating on The Elms car park and Market Hill and speeding
around the area on weekend evenings between 7pm and midnight you
have told us are of particular concern. Also illegal parking on
Market Hill causes disruption to the market, business and the
public during business hours 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
Objectives
- To reduce the number of vehicles and drivers causing
nuisance.
- To support effective traffic management within the towns,
targeting those motorists who park inconsiderately /
illegally.
- To reduce the requirement of Police resources to attend regular
complaints of this nature.

Updates
Recently we worked together with Suffolk Fire and Rescue to hold
a ‘Learn and Live’ event that was attended by a number of local
young drivers. The event aimed to educate drivers, particularly new
young drivers about the consequences of anti-social driving. If you
would like to find out more about this programme contact PCSO 3091
Abbott on 01473 613500 or

We also continue to pro-actively target speeding drivers by use
of speed guns and cameras with the assistance of the Roads Policing
Unit.
