Priority 3 - Criminal Damage

Details

Criminal Damage within Framlingham is an issue for residents and vehicle owners and some analysis shows this to be most commonly on weekend evenings between 9pm and 1am with a particular hotspot in the Double Street area. Even small incidents of criminal damage can cause a lot of distress and increases the fear of crime.

Objectives

· Reduce the number of incidents of criminal damage.

· Increase public confidence in police ability to deal with the problem and reduce the fear of crime.

· Increase High Visibility footpatrols at key times.


This will be reviewed on 30/04/2008

Updates

Operation Springclean running until April 17th will look to increase footpatrols at the key times and locations utilising both regular and special constabulary officers.
