Criminal Damage within Framlingham is an issue for residents and
vehicle owners and some analysis shows this to be most commonly on
weekend evenings between 9pm and 1am with a particular hotspot in
the Double Street area. Even small incidents of criminal damage can
cause a lot of distress and increases the fear of crime.
Objectives
· Reduce the number of incidents of criminal damage.
· Increase public confidence in police ability to deal with the
problem and reduce the fear of crime.
· Increase High Visibility footpatrols at key times.
This will be reviewed on 30/04/2008
Updates
Operation Springclean running until April 17th will
look to increase footpatrols at the key times and locations
utilising both regular and special constabulary officers.
