Welcome to the Newmarket Safer Neighbourhood
Team website.
In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police
Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police
Support Volunteers.
We work alongside staff from other
organisations, including district and borough councils to provide
an even better service to local people across the county.
Our team has a remit to solve problems
identified by local people from your area – which could range from
crime and anti-social behaviour to noise and litter.
Remember, we are here to help you, so please get
in touch with us if you need our assistance. Our team covers the
wards of All Saints, Exning, St Marys and Severals.

The next neighbourhood policing
meeting
We hold regular tasking meetings, which
are attended by the police, county, district and parish
councillors, as well as our partners from health and educational
organisations.
The aim is to:
-
Discuss issues put forward by the local
community.
-
Select the top three priorities to be
addressed and how we are going to tackle them.
-
Arrange feedback to local people about
progress.
These meetings are open to
the public, so if you would like to come along and raise any issues
with us, the next one for your area is on 31st March 2010. It
starts at 10am and finishes at 12pm, and will take place
at Racing Welfare Offices, Robin McAlpine House, 20b Park Lane,
Newmarket, CB8 8QD .
If you can't make the meeting and would like to get in touch about
something which concerns you -
please
contact us.
