Welcome to the Ipswich North East Safer
Neighbourhood Team website.
In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police
Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police
Support Volunteers.
We work alongside staff from other organisations, including
district and borough councils to provide an even better service to
local people across the county.
Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people
from your area - which could range from crime and anti - social
behaviour to noise and litter.
Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us
if you need our assistance. Ipswich North East team
covers the Bixley, Rushmere and St Johns Wards within Ipswich.

The next Community Priority Setting Meeting
We hold regular area forums and police
priority setting meetings which are attended by the police,
county, district and parish councillors, as well as many of our
partners. These are open to the public to attend and raise any
issues they may have about the area to the relevant agency.
The aim is to:
-
Discuss issues put forward by local
community.
-
Discuss the top three priorities chosen by
members of the public and decide how these should be addressed
and how we are going to tackle them .
-
Arrange feedback to local people about
progress.
The date for the next North East
Area Forum is - Thursday 15th
