Welcome to the Ipswich South East Safer Neighbourhood Team website.

In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police Support Volunteers.

Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people from your area - which could range from crime and anti-social behaviour to noise and litter.

Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us if you need our assistance.  Ipswich South East team covers the Priory Heath, Gainsborough and Holywells wards.

The next Community Priority Setting Meetings

We hold regular Community Priority Setting setting meetings which are attended by the police, county, district and parish councillors, as well as many of our partners. These are open to the public to attend and raise any issues they may have about the area to the relevant agency.

The aim is to:

  • Discuss issues put forward by local community
  • Discuss the top three prioities chosen by members of the public and decide how these should be addressed and how we are going to tackle them.
  • Arrange feedback to local people about progress

The next Neighbourhood Priority Setting Meeting at the South East Ipswich Forum – At Murrayfield Primary School, Nacton Road, Ipswich, Suffolk. IP3 9JL. At 7pm on the 1st July 2010

If you can not make this meeting and would like to get in touch about something that concerns you, please contact us
