During The Suffolk Spring Clean fortnight, local youths from the Kaspa group, members of Ipswich South West SNT and staff from Sanctuary Hereward Housing took part in a litter pick in Downside Close. The morning stayed dry although a bit windy and everyone showed great enthusiasm!




Ipswich Borough Council provided the use of litter grabbers, bags and hoops, high visibility vests and gloves. They also kindly donated cloth bags, frisbees and pencil cases for the youths that had taken part. Although Downside Close looked very tidy before we started, after collecting 7 sacks of litter it looked even better and the youths were very proud of their work. Well done and thank you to all particpants!
