Welcome to the Babergh West Safer Neighbourhood
Team website.
In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made
up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials
and Police Support Volunteers.
We work alongside staff from other
organisations, including district and borough councils to provide
an even better service to local people across the county.
Our team has a remit to solve problems
identified by local people from your area – which could range from
crime and anti-social behaviour to noise and litter.
Remember, we are here to help you, so please get
in touch with us if you need our assistance. Our team covers the
wards of Boxford, Bures St Mary, Brett Vale, Chadacre,
Glemsford & Stanstead, Lavenham, Leavenheath, Long Melford,
North Cosford and Waldingfield wards.

The next Neighbourhood Policing
Meeting
We hold regular priority setting meetings,
which are attended by County, District and Parish councillors,
Police, as well as partners from Health and Educational
organisations, the business community and members of the
public.
The aim is to:
- Discuss issues put forward by the local community.
- Select the top three priorities to be addressed and how we are
going to tackle them.
These meetings are open to the public, so if you
would like to come along and raise any issues with us, the next one
for your area is on Thursday 18th
March 2010 at Village Hall, HIgh Street, Acton, CO10
0AT. It is open to the public from 11.00 am
and finishes at 12.00 pm. If you can't make the meeting and
would like to get in touch about something which concerns you -
