Everyone is reminded of the importance of keeping their property safe.  Prevent burglaries at your home by making sure it appears to be occupied.  Secure windows and doors, place lights on timer switches and leave a radio on when not at home.  There have been house burglaries  within our area, so remain vigilant and report anything suspicious.  

Ensure all valuables are removed from your vehicle and it is left secured with the alarm set. 

Of late, there has been an increase of theft of domestic oil from storage tanks in gardens and within grounds of other properties.  Two such offences have occured recently within our SNT area.  The suspects would have to use a larger type of vehicle to convey the stolen oil away.
