Beccles and Bungay

Welcome to the Beccles and Bungay Safer Neighbourhood Team website.

In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police Support Volunteers.

We work alongside staff from other organisations, including district and borough councils to provide an even better service to local people across the county.

Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people from your area - which could range from crime and antisocial behaviour to noise and litter.

Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us if you need our assistance.  Our team covers the wards of Wainford, Worlingham, Beccles North, Beccles South, The Saints and Bungay.

The next Community Priority Setting Meeting

We hold regular Community Priority Setting meetings, which are attended by the police, county, district and parish councillors, as well as our partners from health and educational organisations.

The aim is to:

  • Discuss issues put forward by the local community.
  • Select the top three priorities to be addressed and how we are going to tackle them.
  • Arrange feedback to local people about progress.

These meetings are open to the public, so if you would like to come along and raise any issues with us, the next one for your area is on Wednesday 14th of August. It starts at 4pm and finishes at 6pm, and will take place at: The Town Hall, The Walk, Beccles. If you can't make the meeting and would like to get in touch about something which concerns you - please contact us
