Haverhill Team Homepage

Welcome to the Haverhill Safer Neighbourhood Team website.

In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police Support Volunteers.

We work alongside staff from other organisations, including district and borough councils to provide an even better service to local people across the county.

Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people from your area - which could range from crime and anti-social behaviour to noise and litter.

Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us if you need our assistance.  Our team covers the wards of Haverhill North, Haverhill South, Haverhill East and Haverhill West.

The next Community Priority Setting Meeting

We hold regular Community Priority Setting meetings, which are attended by the police, county, district and parish councillors, as well as our partners from health and educational organisations.

The aim is to:

  • Discuss issues put forward by the local community.
  • Discuss the top three priorites chosen by members of the public and decide how these should be addressed and how we are going to tackle them..
  • Arrange feedback to local people about progress.

These meetings are open to the public, so if you would like to come along and raise any issues with us, the next one for your area is on 12th August 2010 at the Haverhill Council Offices, Lower Down Slade, Haverhill CB9 9EE.  The meeting starts at 2pm and finishes at 3.30pm.

If you can't make the meeting and would like to get in touch with us about something which concerns you - please contact us.

Come and See the Team
