Saxmundham and Framlingham Team Homepage

Welcome to the Saxmundham and Framlingham Safer Neighbourhood Team website.

In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police Support Volunteers.

We work alongside staff from other organisations, including district and borough councils to provide an even better service to local people across the county.

Our Team has a remit to solve problems indentified by local people from your area - which could range from crime and anti-social behaviour to noise and litter.

Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us if you need our assistance.  Our team covers the wards of Snape, Yoxford, Walberswick, Saxmundham, Hacheston, Peasenhall, Earl Soham and Framlingham.

Our Team Priorities

(what you told us we need to concentrate our efforts on)

2.   Address the issues of vehicle misuse by young drivers/riders in particular excessive speed, noise and general anti-social driving in and around Market Place, High Street, Church Street and Brook Farm Road, Saxmundham and Market Hill, Saxtead Road, Fen Meadow and the Elms Car Park, Framlingham - read more details

The next neighbourhood policing meeting

We hold regular tasking meetings, which are attended by the police, county, district and parish councillors, as well as our partners from health and education organisations.

The aim is to:

  • Discuss issues put forward by the local community.
  • Select the top three priorities to be addressed and how we are going to tackle them.
  • Arrange feedback to local people about progress

These are not open to the public.  However, the next one for your area is on 24th June.

If you have issues you want raised at this meeting - please contact us
