Welcome to the Southwold and Halesworth Safer
Neighbourhood Team website
In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police
Officers, Police Community Support Officers and Police Support
Volunteers.
We work alongside staff from other organisations, including County,
District, Town and Parish Councils to provide an even better
service to local people across the county.
Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people
from your area - which could range from crime and anti-social
behaviour to noise and litter.
Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us
if you need our assistance. Our team covers the
wards of Wrentham, Southwold, Reydon, Blything and
Halesworth.

Be Visible - Be Safe Our advice is to get a
High Vis jacket or waistcoat to wear when out at night time.
Especially if you are a cyclist or walking in the countryside
where there are no pavements and street lighting
Crime Mapping Please note
that the peak of reported crime shown on the crime mapping for the
month of July, is due to an unusually high (for the locality)
number of thefts which occur each year at the Latitude Music
Festival, Henham Park.
Criminals travel from all over the U.K. to attend this event and
prey on the vulnerability of festival goers, many of whom do not
practise the normal crime prevention measures they might at
home.
Don't think that just because you're attending a music festival in
a beautiful part of rural Suffolk, you are immune from crime.
If you are planning on attending Latitude, please bear in mind
