Building Regulations are UK national standards which cover health, safety, welfare and convenience of people in and around buildings as well as ensuring reasonable provision is made for the conservation of fuel and power.

The main purpose of the Building Regulation Service is to help you achieve Building Regulation Approval for building work.
We do this by:

• Approving plans
• Inspecting work carried out on site
• Issuing a completion certificate
