REFUSE COLLECTIONS

Refuse collections in the area have been disrupted by the snow and ice. Waveney District Council’s latest advice (7^th Jan) is to leave your bin out until it’s emptied as they are endeavouring to catch up on collections. To provide more vehicles for this catch up all green bin collections have been suspended and these vehicles used elsewhere.

THE FIRST STONE FOR THE HOVERCRAFT CELEBRATORY COLUMN IS LAID

On Wednesday 16th December the first stone was laid.  It was bedded down and has been covered up to protect it from the weather.  The column itself is expected to be erected in April 2010.
