Since Folk in the Barn began four years ago we have held
occasional folk music concerts. These were originally held in the
Tithe Barn in Sproughton but have recently moved to the
Church Hall, just a few yards away along Lower
Street. See the Map page for how to find us.
All concerts begin at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7.30 p.m. A raffle is
held and a bar is available.
We are not a folk club so there are not usually any floor singers.
However, if anybody would like to sing or play, please get in touch
and we’ll see what can be done.

DEBBY
McCLATCHY

Debby McClatchy is an expert entertainer with wit
and imagination. She is recognized as one of the finest
frailed-banjo players. On tour she plays her 1907 Bacon 'FF
Professional' banjo and maybe a fiddle. Her combination of
goodtime, old-time banjo, glorious singing - with occasional
outbreaks of mountain fiddling and freestyle Appalachian stepping -
has made her a favourite in clubs and at festivals.
