The Steering Group is anxious to include all shades of opinion from all parts of the Parish.  Please
contact one of the people named above if you have any questions.

A main activity of the Steering Group was to devise, print and distribute a comprehensive
questionnaire to all households in the village.  This was carried out in the autumn of 2006
and spring of 2007. An analysis of the results of the questionnaire has recently been
completed and will be presented at the Annual Parish Meeting on 6/5/08. The analysis
reveals clear statistics about the composition of our community and is allowing us to
understand the opinions of residents on a wide range of local issues such as transport,
housing needs, provision of youth facilities, leisure and sporting facilities, the creation
of a Community Shop, etc.  The results of the questionnaire are enabling the Parish Council
to demonstrate social need, when we approach funding bodies for grants for future village
projects.  A case in point is the Community Shop project, for which grant applications
were made in 2007 and for which new applications will be made in 2008.
