Welcome to the Stowmarket Local History

 A great many
subjects and themes about the town have been discussed at the
monthly meetings over the past year, generating a lot of
interest for both the younger and older members of the
group.
Additionally, the talks have informed people who have lived in the
town for many years, as well as the more recent additions to the
population who want to discover a bit more about the town. This
tradition is set to continue with another full programme which will
hopefully attract even more interested folk.
We meet on the third Monday of the month in the
Salvation Army Hall, Violet Hill Road,
