Contacting us by email or over the internet
When contacting us by email, please provide as much detail in your
message as possible. However, please do not send us any
attachments, because of the risk of virus transmission.
Don't forget to include your own email address or alternative
contact details for a reply.
Whether you write to us, call, fax or send an email, we need to
know your name, address and postcode. This is because we can
only provide advice to those in the Sudbury or Hadleigh areas and
we need to check that you are in this area. If you are not in
this area but would still like advice, then please consult the
national Citizens
Advice Service website which will enable you to find your
local Citizens Advice Bureau.
Confidentiality
We will keep all details of your enquiry entirely confidential,
whether you contact us in writing, by telephone, fax or email.
However, you should be aware that the Internet is not completely
secure and that a record of the messages that you send and receive
may be kept on the computer you are using, or on other computers on
the Internet.
Response time
We will try to respond to your written, faxed or emailed
enquiry as soon as possible. However, when we are particularly busy
it may take up to ten days.
If you telephone us and the line is busy, then please keep on
trying. We endeavour to answer all calls to the Advice Line
as promptly as possible but the busiest time for telephone calls is
in the mornings. If you would like us to call you when the
Advice Line is free, then please send us an email with a brief
description of your problem and details on how we can contact
you.
In the meantime you may wish to browse the Advice pages on
this website or the online Advice Guide resource:
www.adviceguide.org.uk.
