Putting the Twin into Twinning                   

We work actively with our friends in France, Germany and Denmark to expand mutual understandings and build lifetime friendships across international borders.

Visitors from Clermont, Höxter and, more recently Fredensborg, are welcomed in our homes, usually for weekend visits, and the hospitality is returned when we travel there. We always receive the warmest of welcomes. Languages are not a barrier to enjoyment - many conversations can be held with a few words, lots of sign language and laughter! An interest in learning another language is, of course, always appreciated.

We are keen to encourage individuals, clubs and teams in the Sudbury area to participate in these opportunities. So if you are a member of a football team, a music group, or perhaps a social club, and would like to meet up with like minded French, German and Danish people, why not contact us? We could put you in touch with the right people and your club could soon be on its way in Europe.

News update.

We were delighted to welcome more than sixty guests from Clermont in June. Hosts and guests enjoyed full sunshine, and the added pleasure of a joint concert given by Sudbury's Choral Society and Clermont's Harmonie Municipale in St Peter's Church.

Our recent cake stall in Sudbury Market was a great success.
