Sudbury and Clermont have been twinned since 1985. Many friendships have flourished.

School visits, work experience placements, football tournaments, concerts and Summer School scholarships have all taken place through vibrant Twinning connections.
                                 
Clermont's bright and lively shops, parks and historic buildings are set on a hill with views over the River Oise and surrounding countryside. Clermont offers something for everyone, from a market on the hill below the fifteenth -century St Samson Church, to sporting and cultural activities.

There is a direct train service to Paris (Gare du Nord) and the historic attractions of Arras, Compiegne and Chantilly are within easy reach.

Clermont enjoys excellent relations with its twin towns in Germany and Sicily.
