The 6th Suffolk Folk Festival

The St. Edmund's Crown is our festival logo, as St. Edmund
is Suffolk's patron saint.
In 2009 there was Morris,
Sword and Appalachian dancing in Woodbridge on the
Saturday and Sunday.

During the Saturday afternoon there was a free
acoustic concert in Woodbridge
Library with
Paul & Liz
Davenport from Yorkshire.

There was a concert on the Saturday
evening at the 5th Woodbridge Sea Scouts
Hall on the Quayside. Acts include Paul & Liz
Davenport, Patrick Gillard and
Shadows in the Shade.
The Cherry Tree Inn
again held a beer festival over the weekend and was
one of the folk festival's featured dance spots. The shanty
group, High Water Mark, performed there
during the Saturday evening.
The Saturday evening ceilidh was held at the
Abbey School with Pluck'n'Squeeze
and Gill Bosley.
The free Sunday concert of music and
song was again held in Elmhurst Park.

Town Football Club.
