Suffolk has over 5300Km of public rights of way and 5000 hectares
of open access. This adds up to a network that covers the whole
county and many different landscapes from the coast to the Brecks,
with heathland and farmland in between.
These pages have been written for rights of way users and land
managers by Rights of Way Officers from the County and District
Councils. They will help you find out more about the different
types of rights of way and access, and what your rights and
responsibilities are when using or managing them.

Further details about making changes to the definitive map, any
forms you may need, and useful links to other sites are also
included on this site. The contacts page provides details for all
the relevant councils, and how to report any problems you find on a
public right of way.'
