The village hall, located in Syleham
(IP21 4LT) but serving the communities of both Syleham and
Wingfield, was once the local church school, which closed in
approximately 1932. It was leased to the communities in 1982 and,
having been extended shortly afterwards, is now a well appointed
building with easy access and ample car parking. An air conditioned
hall (with stage), lounge area and separate meeting/pool room have
access to a well equipped bar. There is a large kitchen and one of
the toilets i
s accessible to the
disabled.
The hall has been home to a thriving
sports & social club for amost 25 years. Membership is £2.50
(Senior Citizens £2.00) per year and the bar is open to members,
their families and guests from 8pm on Tuesday and Friday nights,
when darts and pool are available.

- Jive Club Tuesday 8pm
- Pool Thursday 8pm
A good programme of
entertainment throughout the year caters for a wide range of tastes
from drama to cabaret through family events. For more
