The Phoenix Club was created on 15th January 1984 to provide a social outlet for divorced, separated and widowed people from Felixstowe and surrounding areas.  There are on average 90 members each year, and through the affiliated clubs of Ipswich, Clacton and Colchester, there is the opportunity to meet another 1,500 people.  As our club is relatively small, we have the advantage of knowing everyone and can help you find your feet before branching out and attending larger events.

Our members come from as far afield as Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Snape and Halstead as well as Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe and the Trimleys.

Our events are held within Felixstowe and surrounding areas - Martlesham, Trimley, Waldringfield and Woodbridge.

We have close ties with the Ipswich D&S club and hold joint singles events monthly and a joint disco twice a year.  Members from both clubs meet regularly for badminton and other social events.
