The Phoenix Club was created on 15th January 1984 to provide a social outlet for divorced, separated and widowed for people from Felixstowe and surrounding areas.  There are on average 110-150 members each year and through the affiliated clubs of Ipswich, Clacton and Colchester there is the opportunity to meet another 1500 people! As ours is a small club we have the advantage of knowing everyone and can help you find your feet before branching out and attending larger events.

Our members come from as far afield as Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Snape and Halstead as well as Ipswich, Woodbridge and the Trimleys.  

Our events are held within Felixstowe or surrounding areas - Martlesham, Trimley, Waldringfield and Woodbridge. 

We have close ties with the Ipswich D&S club and hold joint singles events monthly and a joint disco twice a year; members from both clubs meet regularly at badminton and social evenings.
