In 2008, West Suffolk LSP launched a new grant scheme known as the Community Chest Fund to help get local community projects off the ground.

Each year a range of projects benefits from over £20,000 of grant aid.  Bids have to be for £2000 (initially £1500) or less and must match the aims of the West Suffolk LSP.  These projects can help everyone - young, old, able-bodied or with disabilities.
