Revised Planning Application by
BT
BT have submitted a large number of documents
as 'further information' in support of their planning
application....
SCDC say "If you wish
to make representations about the further information or revisions
to the application, you should do so by writing to the Head of
Planning Services by 25 February 2010, quoting the
application number C09/0555. It will not be
possible to extend the consultation period. Any representations
already received will be taken into account in determining the
application."
The consultation deadline is just 3 weeks
off (or 10 working days). The 'further information' consists of 20
files, totalling 49Mb of data and no doubt hundreds of pages of
text and diagrams. No indication is given as to why the deadline is
so tight, or why it cannot be extended.
When you make your comments please include the
application
number C09/0555,
your name, address, comment and reason for interest. Please make it
clear whether you support or oppose the proposals - a comment of
'no objection' will be taken as neutral, neither supporting nor
objecting.
You can
email your comments
to d.c.admin@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk
or send them
to:
Head of Planning Services,
Suffolk Coastal District Council,
Melton Hill,
Woodbridge,
Suffolk IP12 1AU.
Please
note that any comments received will
be open to
inspection by the applicant and general public. In the
event of the applicant appealing against the Council's decision,
any representations will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate
and are likely to be made available on the
Internet.

Eastern

will be presenting
their new spring production
"The Long Way
Home"
by Charles Way and
directed by Naomi James
on
Tuesday 23rd March in
Waldringfield
Village Hall
Using music,
puppetry and traditional storytelling techniques to bring this
folktale to life.
The story centres on a
spirited old woman and her pilgrimage across country back to the
seaside village of her childhood. As she treks across the land the
‘old mother’ meets an abandoned dog-boy and a tender friendship is
forged. On the way, the two companions encounter a series of
strange and unsettling characters - a distraught mother, a proud
farmer, dangerous bandits and ghosts from the past - all fighting
their own personal battles.
Charles Way is an
award-winning writer of over thirty plays. Eastern Angles audiences
will remember his wonderfully atmospheric play In The Bleak
Midwinter which toured the East of England back in 2000.
The Long Way Home
is directed by Naomi Jones whose record-breaking 2009 Spring Tour
Return To Akenfield came to Waldringfield and gained glowing
reviews from The Guardian and The Times.
Why not invite some
friends and make up a party? And do book in good time – last year’s
Eastern Angles visit was a sell-out.
