The Waveney District Local Strategic Partnership unites a wide
range of organisations with a common purpose and vision: to have
“Prosperous, attractive and vibrant communities with good access to
jobs, services and facilities and where everybody can feel safe, be
healthy and happy”.
It is the aim and ambition of the Partnership to work closely
together and understand how we can best deliver on this vision.
Waveney is a hugely diverse district with over 117,000 residents
sharing a wide range of opinions on how best to improve outcomes
for residents. We have listened to the needs and views of all
sections of our communities and have outlined Four Key Priority
Areas that the Waveney LSP will focus on:
· A Prosperous and Vibrant Economy
· Learning and Skills for the Future
· The Greenest County
· Safe, Healthy and Inclusive Communities
Each of the Four Key Priorities have
corresponding Action Plans with Key Leads responsible for
developing the Plans within each area. The delivery for the Actions
will be through:
Each of the action plans focus on the next four years,
describing what action needs to be taken between to 2014,
which partners are involved in taking the action, by when, how it
is going to be measured and the difference that it has made. And
this website is the place to come to find out more.
In welcoming you here, I hope that you will find the information on
this site both interesting and informative. Indeed it may encourage
you to become more involved yourself! If so, or if you would just
